the vaccine demand one reminded me of last week when I had to get some stuff from the pharmacy. They’d just been talking about all these vaccines at 90% or better so far, but no talk of distribution yet. I was leaving and noticed the signs that had been hastily taped to the door saying “COVID-19 vaccine not yet available at this location.” I was really puzzled and asked someone there if that many people were asking about it already. She said that they think there’s some in the back and we can just give it out like the flu vaccine when they come for it. I was like “they don’t seem to know much about testing and mass production and distribution, do they?” She laughed and said nope, they think it’s flooding the shelves any day now.
