  • I didn’t listen to the entire thing, but one very thing I noticed right off –and it goes along with what I’ve said before about Republicans– Peters, the Democrat, was calm, cool, and collected as he presented his POV. Johnson, the Republican, was loud, angry, accusatory … and emotional.

As much as any political stances, the difference in the personality of the two parties is stark.

    • I watched the news Peters shut him down. Apparently Johnston thinks nobody recalls his stay in The Ukraine and the fact tha he and Gtassly did indeed receive input from the Ukrainians (Russians).

    • Hello Nan. Johnson is well known as one of the dumbest people in the Senate as well as a true member of the cult of tRump. He has bought in to the Hunter Biden laptop saga, he is sure that tRump never did anything improper with Ukraine, but that Biden did extort Ukraine. Hugs

        • Hello Nan. They speculate that Johnson is up for reelection in 2022, so is being as maga as possible to keep the tRump cult base on his side. The Dem’s think they can flip his seat. I hope so. But damn the Democrats need a lot better messaging. They should be using the fact that the wealthy, wealthy businesses, got far more in the Covid relief bill than the workers and hurting people did. Full deductions for business lunches is back. Full tax deduction for the PPE free money that the government gave to businesses. No taxes on that, yet you, one of the people, will pay taxes on your check and unemployment. Seriously the Democrats have a winning message and yet because they are as beholding to the cooperate donors as almost as much as the Republicans, they wont use it. Are the Democrats paid to lose, or just really good at it. Hugs

  • Scottie, the one constant in the argument is Donald J. Trump. The Senate Intelligence Committee went further than the Mueller Report saying the 2016 Trump campaign manager, Paul Manafort, had routine contact with a Russian person who turned to be an agent. This report went largely unnoticed this summer. On the flip side, Donald J. Trump is claiming wide-scale voter fraud but cannot prove it in court. I do not care for the theatrics, but at the heart of all of this is Senator Ron Johnson using his position to further the president’s cause, which is inappropriate in my mind. Keith

    • Hello Keith. Yes Johnson is a tRump cult member. I have also heard him described as the dumbest member of the Senate. There is no standard these kind of people wont break in order to keep power. These are the people that do not want a democracy but instead want a single party rule with themselves as the ruling party. Hugs
