Look at Texas when it gets cold. Their power grid shuts down. The storm totally exposed their lack of planning.

Of course they will fuck up community health with Covid. TX Republicans are the worst.

Think of all the joy we lost because Trump tried to push ‘the hoax’ narrative after he already fired the US pandemic response team.

The crowd is so easily manipulated. They have no ability to filter bullshit. No policy for Syria. Just mindless adoration for their tribe.

Two-faced, by design.

You can manipulate your followers to follow anything because they believe in nothing.

Trump got the vaccine for a hoax. *MAGA doesn’t blink*

Trump treats his followers with the same respect he gives his marriage vows. He lies. He cheats. 24/7.

Institutionalized patriarchy/misogyny.

  • Yeah, after a day of headaches (only exacerbated by that dumb governor’s announcement to re-open Texas…which will create a helluva domino effect of states doing the same), I’m going after some Baileys on the rocks and some Pink Floyd to dull the pain.

And when the death toll jumps again, these same idiots will lay it all at Biden’s feet and blame him for everything… even though these governors are the ones risking things.

Though the more I think of the timing, I think Abbott’s getting pressure because of all the businesses shut down by the storm and how that jacked the economy, and it’s a legit excuse for getting out of something he never wanted to do anyway. Though it’s disheartening to see the news clips and in the comments section, there are folks who are happy as hell that he’s finally “ending the tyranny” of the mandate (facepalm).

    • Hello Chatty Introvert. Sorry to hear about your headaches. I hope you feel better soon. I am lucky that with all my health issues one blessing I have is I never get headaches. It is very rare for even a small one.

Everything you wrote about Abbott and Texas is correct. But even worse is the fear that people going back to the old normal too soon is that variants could grow before the population is protected. That may create some that the vaccines do not cover … which starts the entire problem all over. The entire last year will have to be relived due to these assholes who wont use masks, social distance, and restrict risky behaviors. Hugs
