Daily morning cartoon / meme roundup: The Democrats are trying to rescue the country and actually help the people. The Republicans are doing everything they can to stop, delay, and prevent help for the people. Who do you think you should vote for?

Scottie, I am finding several things of interest. Just listen or read what is being discussed by conservative media and the trump party – limiting voting rights, rediscovering they do not like deficits after not caring for twelve out of the 20 years of this century, bad tweets after being silent for five years. The other thing I notice is the quality of the Biden Cabinet appointees. After the expected pushback from some trumpeters like Cotton, Led and Paul, they get passed by a significant majority. Keith
Hello Keith. Great observations. Yes I think you are correct, things are changing even as the GQP is retreating to the classic Republican mode. I watch both left leaning and even farther left progressive news. While the progressive news is all doom and gloom about Biden’s administration all the left leaning news praises him for being farther left than it was thought he would ever be. Some times I get whiplash going back and forth from left leaning news, and far left news. Ouch. But Biden and team are doing well for only about 50 days into a four year term. It is enough to drive fox news nuts. Did you see that McConnell is already trying to take credit for an improved economy? Hugs
Scottie, thanks. I did see where Chris Wallace gave Larry Kudlow the devil about ignoring the debt and deficit while in office. I tend to stay away from both ultra conservative and ultra progressive news sites watching and reading more balanced views. I do find out what the Wallace and Maddow’s say by my browser, but do not watch either. And, I would never watch the conspiracy parrots like Hannity, Carlson, Ingraham, etc. Biden is accomplishing and will accomplish some things for the greater good. It is more than fine to criticize him as with any president, but on the whole I would give him a thumbs up. Keith
Hello Keith. Did you see where Carlson is Fox’s number 1 show? And they call it a news show. Until the US gets a handle on the disinformation so that everyone can mostly share the same reality, we are screwed as a nation. Hugs
Thank you for being the voice and presenting the satire of reason, Scottie! I hope that the comics will be read and help reason to be seen where our logic and educational text misses the mark for folks who have short attention spans.
All means are necessary to help educate: thank you for adding this tool to our toolbox, Scottie.

Hello Shira. Thank you, that is one of the nicest things anyone has complemented me with. I like to think the cartoons / memes help people think on issues, they do me. But I wonder if it is true for others? I also have trouble with attention span, especially when I am not feeling well, so I can understand how cartoons / memes help focus the issues. Hugs
You are most welcome, Scottie.
I think that the cartoons and memes certainly do help many people think on and see the issues from another way of looking at them, and that is important.
Have a good and restfully safe weekend,
Safe Hugs!
