Trump Boasts About False Approval Ratings Poll

There’s just one little problem: the number is way off, and his actual approval rating according to that poll is a paltry 43%.

New Book Details Trump’s Rampant Golf Cheating: He Cheats While You’re Watching And Then Lies About It

Lots more information at the link below.  Hugs

The New York Post reports:

“To say ‘Donald Trump cheats’ is like saying ‘Michael Phelps swims,’” writes Reilly. “He cheats at the highest level. He cheats when people are watching and he cheats when they aren’t. He cheats whether you like it or not. He cheats because that’s how he plays golf … if you’re playing golf with him, he’s going to cheat.”

Reilly recount some of the president’s worst cons on the course, starting with his declared handicap of 2.8. In layman’s terms, the lower the handicap, the better the player. Jack Nicklaus, winner of a record 18 major golf titles and generally considered the greatest golfer in the history of the game, has a handicap of 3.4.

Nicklaus’ handicap is listed on the same Golf Handicap and Information Network website used by Trump, where players post their scores. “If Trump is a 2.8,” writes Reilly, “Queen Elizabeth is a pole vaulter.”

Country Happiness Rankings

Filed under: Facts, Health, Ideas, News, Political, Questions, Reason, Science — Scottie @ 08:33

Please note that the US is 19th.   It will blow the minds of Fox News ( If they have any left ) to notice that the countries that rank higher than the US all have some form of democratic socialism.    Seems universal health care without worrying if you can afford it, schooling without being saddled with mountains of debt, having the social safety nets to help the people, having higher taxes is a positive thing, less devotion to religion, having a cleaner environment, and having governments that work for the good of the people not the corporations.   Basically people are happier in countries that are progressive not regressive.  In the US one party is trying to take us into the future and have more happiness and the other party is trying to drag us into the past and be more restrictive.   Progressives need to hammer these points home every day.   Hugs

It is not OK. And we must make sure it never becomes OK

This is the response given by Adam Schiff, the chairman of the Intelligence Committee, after the ranking member of the minority party Mr “midnight run” Devin Nunes demanded Mr Schiff step down as chairman per a tweet by the unhonorable tRump.  I think Nunes should be investigated as his midnight run to try to stop an investigation and the lies he made to do that make him a security risk in the House of Representatives.   It was so flagrantly an attempt to save tRump and please Putin that should be obstruction in it self.  Because of the clearly inappropriate action he took he was supposed to stand down in regards to the investigation.  Something he claimed to do but never actually did.  Listen to Chairman Schiff’s response and see if you can spot any conspiracy with Russia that make the Barr report incorrect. We have a problem in this country where the people in our congress and in the White House are assets of a foreign government.  Either paid and bought assets or hopeful want to be paid and bought  assets doesn’t matter, or even compromised which I think is the case for Lindsey Graham.  Members of our government are working for Russia.  This is a serious threat to our country a third of the population refuses to consider because they think the brown people coming over the souther border are a bigger threat to their continued cultural superior over other races.   Listen to the list Chairmen Schiff reads off and tell me if you think the president did not conspire with the Russians and if the current republican party are not traitors in collusion with the Russian asset in the White House and Russia itself.  This is the true threat to our country.  But dog knows we have to keep those LGBTQ from destroying marriage and the trans people out of the military, while prescribing 60 million dollars worth of Viagra so the straight men can rape and fuck as they wish.   Hugs.

Major Study of 650,000 Patients Finds No Link Between MMR Vaccine and Autism

Filed under: Children, Education, Facts, Health, News, Reason, Science — Scottie @ 11:57

Two decades ago, a later-retracted paper published in The Lancet by the now-disgraced Andrew Wakefield led to a conspiracy theory about how vaccines were linked to autism. Wakefield had falsified the data, used a small sample set, and his results were never duplicated. Yet the lie took on a life of its own, promoted by celebrities and crackpots alike.

The study found no increased risk of developing autism after getting the MMR vaccine, no clustering of autism cases among children who were given the vaccine, and no increase in the rate of autism among susceptible children who were given the vaccine.

Australian immunisation expert Professor Ian Frazer, who along with his team at the University of Queensland developed the vaccine for HPV, said the Danish study definitively confirms the findings of previous studies that vaccines do not cause autism.

Vaccines do cause autism. The entire topic triggers what one might call a form of rational autism in some people, who have difficulties with information processing, and exhibit restricted and repetitive intellectual behavior. We call these people...

STUDY: Children Of Gay Couples Do Better In School

Filed under: Children, Education, Facts, Family, Gender, Homosexual, Love, News, Reason, Science — Scottie @ 13:31

The Washington Post reports:

Children of same-sex couples perform better in school than kids raised by a mom and a dad, according to new research from several European economists. The researchers found that children raised by same-sex couples had higher test scores in elementary and secondary school and were about 7 percent more likely to graduate from high school than children raised by different-sex couples.
