Defining Freedom … — Filosofa’s Word

Have you noticed that some words seem to have taken on a different meaning in the past few years than they once had? Take, for example, the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF). One Soul | In So Many Words. For my wonderful love, Ron

I love this more than I can say, because it is my life with Ron.  I wish everyone could have the joy of this poem.   The feelings here are so true and so grand, uplifting and strengthening.   Reading it made me so happy, and I am very grateful for permission to re-post it here on the Toy Box.   As I said in a comment on the grand blog where you can find so many heartfelt works, I have never felt safer or more protected than when held in Ron’s arms, I have never felt so loved or so much worth than the look in his eyes as he gazes on me.   It is love, and love is life, at least for us.    Hugs

One Soul | In So Many Words.

One Soul

That I bare, from hour to hour,
sheer frustration
only incites in me an ardent
and I count, as always,
the minutes
till I gaze into your soul.

That my mind reels icons
of you only,
despite the sights before me,
makes me lonely,
and my heart swells
at the thought
that you imprint my soul.

That I wrap, fervently, my wraith
around you,
when the chance you grant me,
I do
feel a disquieting
to merge in gratitude,
with your soul.

That I never, astounds me,
felt this assurance
cause you give me the strength
and endurance
to bare the frustration, icons,
and disquieting;
knowing we share but one soul.
